Litigation
Litigation is a craft, and a specialty in its own right: building the case, the evidence, cross-examination in the courtroom and the strategy through to the decision. The firm represents companies, developers, contractors and business owners, as plaintiffs and as defendants, in the courts, in arbitration and before appeals committees, across a wide range of legal fields and in complex, large-scale cases. Each proceeding is built around the result the client needs, not around the proceeding itself.
How a case is run
Every case starts with a meeting where we go through the facts and the documents and define what the client needs to achieve. Before any proceeding is filed, we also weigh the business question: what it will cost, how long it will take, what the risk is, and whether there is a shorter route to the same result. The lawyer who manages your case is the one you met at the first meeting, and the one you turn to throughout.
